Just so you don’t think that we’re total lushes at Salem Beer and Blog, here’s an image of a blog instead of beer. Tonight we’re meeting at the f-stop visual arts center to talk about Wordpress Multi-User and drink beer.

Things are transforming at f-stop. We’ve installed tile, buffed the natural wood and splashed on a fresh coat of paint, all in anticipation of the grand opening September 11 with the Visual Art Mixer.

When: 6-10

Where: f-stop visual arts center 335 Grove St NE Salem, OR

Stop by and talk it up with fellow bloggers tonight, July 2 from 6-10 pm. We are moving the discussion to Roxxy’s at 10 to upload at the burlesque show.

Thanks Justin for getting the ball rolling!

THree thumbs up!

Three thumbs up!

Uncle Bingo director Chuck Magee was the proud winner of the official König Ludwig Dunkel bier mug. He happily broke it in immediately.
Thanks to everyone that came out to Salem Beer and Blog tonight. We had plenty to discuss and drink. Justin Kistner, founder of Beer and Blog, made a special trip down to christen the group and share his insights on many tech topics, including the effort to unite the tech and creative crowds.
If you missed the live broadcast on f-stop.tv, check back when we upload the taped show.
Thanks Salem techies!

In addition, other authentic German drinking glassware will available for your use, including the dreaded dribble mug (can you crack the code?) and a Hacker Pschorr Maßkrug liberated from the Oktoberfest in Munich.

See you there!

McMenamin's Alienator

Hey-it’s happening! The first Salem Beer and Blog! Are you a frequent blogger, occasional blogger or a ubiquitous micro-blogger? Then grab your laptop (not required)  and get together with other like-minded souls and help us break in the f-stop visual arts center, 335 Grove St NE in Salem from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2.

Salem Beer and Blog offers an opportunity to chat about the creative/techie culture in Salem and the surrounding area. Twittering? Find out about analyzing your effectiveness. Wordpress blogger? Learn about the latest spam SEO techniques and how to avoid or exploit them. Just want to meet other cybernauts and casually drink your favorite beverage? You can do that too.

We’ll also be deciding how frequently and which days are the best to meet. This is a BYOBottle and BYOBlog event. Wifi and desktops available for those in need. Come down and enjoy meeting other people just like you (only slightly different) while exchanging tips and tricks of the trade.

See you there!
